We’re going to see a cold front coming in from the north today, which will interact with a moist airmass ahead of a low pressure system moving in from the southwest. That’s the setup for thunderstorms, especially from Lubbock and south. The counties with the best shot of severe storms will be Yoakum, Terry, Lynn and Garza, as well as Gaines, Dawson, Borden and Scurry. Lubbock can see large hail with any storm this evening. The high today will be 77°. We’ll see more thunderstorms, especially in the morning, at 60%. The high tomorrow will be 63°.
