We’re not seeing as many clouds out there as we start the day. So, skies are mainly clear, at least before the cold front arrives. The front will move through the area from 7:00 am-1:00 pm from the north. It will bring in gusty wind and obviously cooler air. There will be a few clouds this morning, as it passes. The afternoon is going to see sunny skies and 25-30 mph wind and a high temperature of 70°. It will feel cooler with the wind out there.
Overnight, skies will remain clear, but it will be very cold by morning. Wind is going to stay at 10-15 mph. So, as we drop down to 33° in Lubbock, it will feel more like the low 20s. Be sure to bundle up extra tomorrow morning, especially at the bus stop. The afternoon is looking to remain sunny and dry. Wind will be lower, sustained at 10-15 mph. Lubbock will make it to a high temperature of 66°.
