Well, if you were lucky enough, you actually saw rain showers yesterday. Lubbock officially came in with just a trace of precipitation. The Rolling Plains saw measurable rain in Hall County and Cottle County. Those showers and storms moved very quickly, so not much rain was accumulated. This afternoon is going to remain sunny and the air will be dry. Lubbock will only see a high of 65° today, with wind at 10-15 mph.

Expect another chilly start to the day tomorrow. We’ll be seeing clear skies overnight. The wind will stay around 10 mph, so that will help keep temperatures from bottoming out. They will drop down into the upper 30s for most, mid 30s along the state line. The afternoon will see sunny skies, with dry air and more wind at 10-15 mph. The warm-up will begin for the area on Thursday afternoon, as Lubbock will reach 75°.
