We did get a few, light, showers near the state line and in Swisher and Hale Counties early this morning, but those did not hang on for long. So, expect to see mostly sunny skies today with much warmer air. Wind from the south will help to pump in that warmth this afternoon. Lubbock will get up to a high temperature of 93°. Tomorrow, the kids head back to school and we’ll still see warm air, with mostly sunny skies. Highs tomorrow will jump up into the mid 90s once again.
