We’re looking at more quiet weather today, than 24 hours ago. We ended up with .10″ of rain in Lubbock with the storm that rolled through during the morning rush. That rain was enough to keep highs in the mid 80s on Tuesday. This afternoon is going to get back to mostly sunny skies and warm air. We’ll hit 94° for the high. If any storms get going, they’ll be in the Rolling Plains later today.
Moving into the day Thursday, skies will remain mostly sunny. The morning is going to stay dry and calm. So, no issues as you head to work in the morning. We’ll continue to see light wind, only staying at 5-10 mph. The afternoon will see Lubbock reaching a high temperature of 92°, which is right on the average for this time of year. Can’t rule out a stray storm at 10%.
