We’re getting a pocket of showers moving through the northwestern counties this morning. The rest of the day will see more isolated showers and thunderstorms. Coverage of these storms will be at 10%. Otherwise, we’re going to have a cloudy day. You’ll notice it will feel muggy, as well. That will help to create fog this morning and make it feel warmer this afternoon. Lubbock will get to a high of 82° today.

There will be isolated thunderstorms in the area overnight, into Saturday morning. These storms will stay at 10%. The isolated storms will continue through the day tomorrow at 10%, as well. We’ll have a cloudy day tomorrow, as well. The moisture will begin to deplete as Harvey comes ashore. We’ll be in subsidence, so the rain will end and we will see clearing skies Saturday night. We’ll reach a high of 81° Saturday.
