We had the expected isolated storms quickly move through the area yesterday afternoon just before school let out. That helped to make things humid for a short time. Lubbock picked up just a trace of precipitation at the airport. This afternoon will be more calm and quiet. We’ll see sunny skies and light wind all across the area. We’ll stay below average, as the high will make it to 85°.
Overnight, we’ll expect to see more clear skies and light wind. That is a perfect recipe for things to get cool again. We saw lows in the mid 50s to the northwest this morning and that will be the case again tomorrow. Lubbock will make it down to 57° by Wednesday morning. The afternoon is going to continue to see sunny skies and light wind. The high is going to reach 86°.
