The cold front moved through the area last night, but it’s not as cold this morning as what we saw yesterday. The 20° readings are generally staying west of Lubbock. We’re in the mid 30s now here in the Hub with light wind. We will see cooler air affecting the region this afternoon. Skies will stay sunny and the wind at 10-15 mph. We’ll see a high temperature of 54°. It will feel more like the upper 40s.
Overnight, we’re going to see very quiet weather again. Skies will be clear and wind will drop to 5-10 mph. So, expect a cold start to your Friday, with lows in the mid 20s for Lubbock and upper teens to the northwest. The wind is going to stay light through the entire day tomorrow. That is always nice to report. We’ll stay sunny and mild, with a high temperature of 55°.
