A low pressure system in the Desert Southwest is already pumping moisture into west Texas, mainly in the form of clouds today. Those clouds are going to help keep high temperatures well below average. Today will see cloudy skies with wind at 10-15 mph making things feel much colder. Lubbock will get to a high of 43°. We’ll start to see rain showers Friday afternoon with high temperatures in the low 30s. That rain will change to freezing rain late Friday night.
