Well, there is no super moon excitement today, but we are seeing clear skies and a great view of the moon. The wind is still up there at 10-15 mph, thanks to the cold front that is passing through the area. That wind is going to drop temperatures this morning and make it feel colder than it is. With the passage of our latest cold front, high temperatures today won’t be even close to what we had on Wednesday. Lubbock will be sunny and breezy today, with a high reaching 56°.

It is going to be a very cold start to the day tomorrow. Overnight, we’ll have partly cloudy skies and wind near 10 mph. The air mass coming from the north is very cold, so lows will be much lower than this morning. In fact, Lubbock will drop down to 22°. It will feel more like 13°-15° in most places. The afternoon is looking to see sunny skies and wind at 10-15 mph. We’ll actually lower the high tomorrow to 54°, feeling more like the mid 40s with the wind.
