We certainly had nice weather, especially on Saturday. There was very light rain in Lubbock yesterday afternoon, but we only managed a trace at the airport. We really do need the rain, but it will be hard to come by this week. Expect sunny skies in the area today, the wind will be at 10-15 mph & Lubbock will get to a high of 71°.
More of the same tomorrow, but we warm up even more. If we’re not going to get the rain we need, at least we can get out & enjoy the nice warm air. The skies will stay sunny on Tuesday, with the wind becoming light, only at 5-10 mph. We should be near 61° for the average high area-wide. However, we’ll see a high of 78° in Lubbock tomorrow, with the Rolling Plains reaching the low 80s.
