The cloud cover this morning will clear this afternoon. That will give way to sunny skies and warmer air. The wind is going to be the big issue for today. Sustained wind will be at 15-20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph at times. Lubbock is going to make it up to a high temperature of 64°. The average high for today is 60°. Tomorrow will drop the sustained wind down to 10-15 mph. Skies will stay sunny, but we’ll see even warmer air out there. The high temperature is going to climb to 66° here in Lubbock.
