We’re kicking off another work and school week with clear skies and calm weather. The strong wind from yesterday is gone, but won’t be completely out of the area today. We’ll get sustained wind at 10-15 mph today, under sunny skies. Temperatures will dip into the 20s this morning, before we see them near average this afternoon. Lubbock will make it up to a high temperature of 55°. That is right where we should be.

Overnight, we’ll get more cold air infiltrating the region. Expect a low of 23° in Lubbock, with teens to the west and northwest. The afternoon will see mostly sunny skies. So, there will just be some passing cumulus clouds. We’re actually going to get warmer air tomorrow, as high temperatures will be above average. Expect the high to make it to 59°. Wind will be light tomorrow.
