It’s once again clear and boring out there to start this Thursday. The wind is staying up near 10 mph, so that is helping to hold temperatures higher than what we had on Wednesday. Temperatures are still in the low 30s for some locations. These readings will drop into the upper 20s by sunrise. So, it’s not as cold now, which means it will be another warm afternoon. The wind will increase to 15-20 mph from the south. That south wind will get us back to 60° this afternoon.
Expect things to be mainly clear and calm overnight. The wind will stay near 10 mph again, so lows will only drop down into the mid 30s for most. Jackets will still be needed when you head out Friday morning. The rest of the day is looking to be mostly sunny, windy and warmer. Sustained wind is going to be at 10-15 mph from the south-southwest. This is head of a cold front, which will move in Friday night/Saturday morning. The high Friday will hit 69°.
