Today is going to see partly sunny skies, with light wind. But, even with the clouds sticking around, Lubbock is going to make it to 90°. The clouds are going to clear out tomorrow, leading to mostly sunny skies and much warmer air. Lubbock is going to make it up to a high temperature of 93°. That is actually the average for July 11. The air is only going to warm up for the latter part of the week and into the weekend, with more sunshine and dry air.
