If you thought it felt on the muggy side yesterday, it did. we had just enough moisture moving into the area that the dew points were elevated and it felt sticky. We only had highs in the low 90s, but it felt warmer than it actually was. High pressure is moving in from the east today. That will kick out the moisture and clouds. The afternoon will stay sunny and dry with a high temperature of 95° in Lubbock.

The center of the ridge will be right over the South and Rolling Plains by tomorrow. That means that there will be no clouds, plenty of sunshine and very warm air. Highs will stay above average and even near 100° in the Rolling Plains. However, highs will stay in two digits. Lubbock will still see light wind, with a high temperature of 96°. The UV Outlook is going to stay Extreme, too.
