As that high pressure ridge continues to move to the west, we’re getting a hard time trying to see clouds in the area this morning. That will be the same story this afternoon. Expect skies to be mostly sunny, much like what we saw yesterday. However, the clouds will be more few and far between this afternoon. Wind will remain at 10-15 mph trying to help us out. Lubbock will make it up to a high temperature of 95°.
Overnight, expect more clear skies. Wind is going to remain near 10 mph, which will helps to keep lows in the low 70s for most spots. Tomorrow afternoon is looking to see much of the same and pretty typical summer time weather. Skies will be sunny and blue, with a high temperature of 94° in Lubbock. The UV Outlook will remain in the Extreme category, so be sure to take it easy while working outside.
