Things are staying calm and quiet to start off the day. Skies are seeing just some leftover, thin clouds out there. It’s also staying pretty warm. We’re seeing most spots in the low 70s now, with mid 60s to the northwest. Expect another warm afternoon, under mostly sunny skies. The wind will stay at 10-15 mph in the afternoon, too. Lubbock is looking to stay dry, with a high temperature of 96°.
Overnight, we’re going to see more clear skies, with just a few passing clouds. The wind will drop to 10 mph through the early morning hours. We’ll start Friday off at 73° in Lubbock. The afternoon is going to see more sunshine, with passing, thin clouds. There will be warmer air out there tomorrow, with highs getting near 100° in the Rolling Plains. Lubbock is going to see a high temperature of 97°. At least the wind will try to help us out.
