We were able to squeeze out some isolated storms across west Texas over the weekend. We were seeing much of the same this morning. There were leftover isolated storms in Castro County, while the rest of us were seeing cloudy skies. The rest of the day will see a mix of clouds and sunshine, with a high temperature of 92°. I can’t rule out isolated storms this afternoon at 10%.
High pressure will return to the area by tomorrow. That means we will see a few days of warm, sunny and dry weather. There will still be a mix of clouds and sun on Tuesday. However, the warmer air is going to come back. We will start the day at 72°. The afternoon will watch partly sunny skies stay, but we will still reach a high temperature of 96°. At least we’ll get a few breaks from that sunshine in the afternoon.
