There are just a few clouds out and about to kick off this Wednesday. That is really all there is going on this morning. Today is going to shape up to be a quiet one. There will be a ridge of high pressure over head, so expect mostly sunny skies and dry air. The wind is going to remain at 10-15 mph at times this afternoon. So, that will try to help cool us down like yesterday. Lubbock will expect to see another warm one, as we make it up to a high temperature of 96°.
Overnight, skies will remain clear, with just very few passing thin clouds to speak of. The night will be calm and pretty warm. We’ll stay in the low 80s through 4:00 am, before dropping down to 73° before sunrise tomorrow. The afternoon is looking to be mostly sunny and dry under this high pressure ridge. So, we’re going to look at a high temperature of 97° in Lubbock, with wind at 10-15 mph.
