Expect to see a dry day, with mostly sunny skies out there. The warm air is going to stay around, as we will make it to a high temperature of 96°. That will feel much warmer than yesterday, because we only hit a high of 89°. Wind is going to be at 10-15 mph, with dry weather returning thanks to high pressure taking control yet again.

The warmest day this week is unfortunately going to be on Independence Day. We’ll be seeing a sunny day with no clouds to help shade us from the sunshine. So, be safe as you head out for the holiday celebrations. Stay hydrated and have your sunscreen ready to go. Lubbock is going to see a high temperature of 99°, with light wind. So, it is going to feel much warmer than it actually is.
