Things are very calm and quiet out there this morning. High pressure is in place over west Texas. That is going to bring us more dry and warm weather this afternoon. We’re going to continue to see sunny skies this afternoon with 10-15 mph wind around the region. Expect to see another above average high temperature day, as we will reach a high of 99°. Any thunderstorms that come into Texas will stay in the panhandle, north of I-40.
Overnight, there will be clear skies again, thanks to that strong high pressure ridge right over top of us. That will help us to see a low temperature of 71°. A weak cold front will move through the area Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. That will help to keep the high temperatures near average Wednesday afternoon. We’ll still see sunny skies, with a reaching 93°.
