The afternoon is looking to see mostly sunny skies. We’ll get another very warm day out there, with a high in Lubbock of 97°. There will be isolated storms in the area between 4:00-8:00 pm. Coverage will be at 20% today. Those storms will have heavy rain and isolated large hail. So, stay safe if you’re caught in one.
Tomorrow will begin with clear skies and warm air. Lubbock will only drop down to 69° before sunrise. The afternoon for Wednesday will see sunny skies and an extremely high UV Index. So, stay safe out in the heat. We’ll see a high temperature of 99°. There will be isolated storms in the area at 10%, generally in the Rolling Plains. Coverage is looking less than today and only at 10%.
