Well, we saw another round of isolated storms in the area yesterday. Coverage ended up verifying at 10%. We had a few warnings, thanks to the large hail those storms had. Today will see a break from those storms, as we’ll see sunny skies and hot air once again. Expect a high of 100° for Lubbock. The wind will be at 5-10 mph, so we will not be getting any help from that. Stay safe if you’re spending a long time outside today.

Tomorrow is going to see more isolated storms, generally east of Lubbock and east of Crosbyton and Floydada. Coverage tomorrow will be at 10%. Any one of those few storms has the potential to produce some large hail. Most of us will stay dry, which has been the case lately. Skies will be sunny and we’re going to get another hot one out there, as Lubbock will make it back to 100° for the sixth day in a row. The wind will remain only at 5-10 mph.
