Skies are clear as we kick off the final day of the work week. It’s still pretty warm out there, too. So, that is all we have for this morning. The afternoon is going to continue to see sunny skies, with 10-15 mph out there. Higher end wind will get to 20 mph. Lubbock will reach a high temperature of 95°. Any showers and storms will stay over the high terrain of New Mexico this afternoon.
Expect to see clear skies and more warm air overnight, into Saturday morning. The low in Lubbock will only get to 71°. There will be more, puffy cumulus clouds in the skies over the area tomorrow afternoon. The wind is going to be on the increase to 10-20 mph. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 89°, which is below average. Expect to see some showers and storms in the area Saturday night, into Sunday morning.
