We’re looking at mainly clear skies across the area as some thin clouds are floating above. This morning is going to be warmer than what we saw on Monday, thanks to the clouds and the warmer air we saw in the afternoon. Today will be similar to Monday. We’re going to looking at mostly sunny skies, light wind and a high temperature of 95°. So, things will be above average for the final day of spring.
Summer officially begins tonight at 11:24. We’ll get 36 minutes of summer tonight, before the real deal tomorrow. We’re going to have very summer-like air across the South Plains tomorrow. Skies are looking to be sunny with the wind increasing to 10-15 mph in the afternoon. Lubbock is looking at warm air, with a high temperature of 98°. Locations off the Caprock will be around 100°-102° for high temperatures. So, here we go again with triple digit heat!
