The sun is going to shine out there today. However, wind is going to be a big problem. WInd this afternoon is going to be sustained at 40-50 mph, with gusts reaching 70 mph at times. This will cause some scattered power outages, as well as knock down some tree limbs and branches. So be careful if you’re venturing outside today. Lubbock will see the high temperature reach 66°. Tomorrow will still be windy, but the air is going to be cooler. Skies will be sunny, with a high temperature of 56°. Wind on Thursday will be at 15-20 mph, with some gusts to 30 mph.
