Much like yesterday afternoon, we’re getting some clouds passing through the area this morning. These clouds will be sticking around today, just like we saw on Wednesday. So, we’ll get a mostly sunny sky today. Wind is going to be at 10-15 mph from the southwest. That southwest wind is going to bring in warm and dry air this afternoon. Unfortunately, the drought is going to continue. We’ll see a high of 86° today.

Overnight, we’re going to get partly cloudy skies, with warm and windy conditions. The wind and clouds that will be around will help to hold the low at only 55° by morning. Record-setting heat is in the forecast on Friday afternoon. We’re going to be under a ridge of high pressure, which means the air will be dry and we’ll have more sunshine, with very few clouds. That will help the high to make it all the way to 90°. That would break the record of 87°.
