The low pressure system that is coming in from the southwest is pumping in moisture to west Texas this morning. For now, the moisture is only showing up in the form of clouds. There are showers trying to get going, however, they are not reaching the ground at this time. We’re going to continue to see cloudy skies today, with a shower possible east of Lubbock. The high will get to 75°, with 15-20 mph wind.
Overnight, there will be isolated storms in the area at 20%, generally east of Lubbock. Otherwise, skies stay cloudy and the wind at 10-15 mph. The morning low will only drop to 54°. The rest of the day will see cloudy skies, with 10-15 mph wind. We’ll get isolated storms in the area at 20%. The best location for any storm will be east of Lubbock. Our high is going to make it to 69°.
