It sure was nice to see the rain across the region on Tuesday afternoon and evening. Lubbock officially came in with .77″, with other parts of town receiving more than an inch. We’re still over an inch in a deficit for the year, even with that rain. We’ll continue to see cloudy skies through the day today. There will be leftover showers and a few thunderstorms this afternoon at 20%. The high temperature is going to make it up to 62°.
Overnight, things begin to dry out. We’ll be looking at partly cloudy skies and light wind. We’ll drop down to 43° as you head out the door in the morning. Sunshine will return, with more wind, on Holy Thursday. Expect to see a relatively cool afternoon, with high temperatures remaining below average. We’ll get up to a high of 66° in Lubbock, with the wind at 10-20 mph. That wind will make it feel more like the mid 50s.
