Skies are partly cloudy as we begin another work and school week. The dry line has moved back to the west, so you will notice that it’s more muggy out there to start the day. That dry line will move back east this afternoon. It will also be the focal point for showers and storms. The dry line will move just east of Lubbock again, so the thunderstorms will stay east of Lubbock. Any storm in the Rolling Plains will have very large hail and wind to 70 mph. So, we will keep you posted. Otherwise, it’ll be mostly sunny, with a high of 93°.
Overnight, as the dry line moves back to the west, a few storms will drift back to the west as well. So, I can’t rule out an isolated storm overnight. Clouds will increase from the morning on tomorrow. We’re going to get more clouds than sunshine, with wind at 10-15 mph. We’ll have scattered storms in the area at 30% tomorrow afternoon. Lubbock will make it up to a high temperature of 90°.
