A cold front worked its way through the region this morning. Ahead of that, south of I-20, will be the main area seeing severe thunderstorms this afternoon. Expect dry air across west Texas this afternoon with cloudy conditions. Lubbock will only make it up to a high of 66°. Tomorrow will only be slightly warmer. Our next system is going to bring in showers and storms at 40%, especially in the monring. It will be below average again, with the high only making it to 72°.
