There are showers and thunderstorms ongoing along the state line to get things started today. The bad news is that this large area of rain is actually dying out as it moves to the east. So, it will not impact Lubbock like we originally thought. We’re only getting some wind from this activity early on here this morning. The rest of the day will see a mix of clouds and sun and isolated storms in the area this afternoon at 10%. The high is going to reach 84°.
Overnight, we’ll stay with cloudy skies, helping to hold low temperatures in the mid 60s to start off Wednesday. Wind will be at 10-15 as we get going tomorrow morning. The rest of the day will see a mix of clouds and sunshine once again. There will be enough moisture around to see a few more isolated storms. The coverage is only going to make to 10% in the afternoon. So, don’t expect much out of this. The high will be 85°.
