We’re looking at less fog and more drizzle as begin this Tuesday. I can’t rule out a few locations getting some low clouds and patchy fog, but nothing like what we saw on Monday. These low clouds will linger through the morning, but by the afternoon, they will exit and the sunshine will return. The wind is going to increase this afternoon to 10-15 mph from the southwest. That will help to increase warm air across west Texas. Lubbock will expect to see mostly sunny skies, with a high temperature of 76°.
Overnight, we’re looking at clear conditions, with wind staying around 10 mph. So, lows will not get as low as they could, thanks to the wind. We’ll dip down to 49° by Wednesday morning. Any clouds that were here overnight will be gone very early on Wednesday. The afternoon is going to be swimming in sunshine and blue skies. A weak cool front will keep wind at 10-15 mph, but the direction will be from the north-northeast. We’re going to be closer to average, with a high temperature of 67°.
