If you are out shopping for some great deals this morning, I hope you have a jacket, because it is chilly out there. We’re looking at clear skies, with some leftover thin cirrus clouds coming in from the north. Other than that, today will see sunny skies, with increasing wind. The wind will be up to 15-25 mph today, gusting to 35 mph. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 81°.
A cold front is going to drop on in by tomorrow morning. This is going to actually drop the wind, but keep it at 10-15 mph in the afternoon. Skies will stay sunny on Saturday, with cooler air. I say cooler air because we won’t be in the 80s anymore, however highs will still remain above average. Lubbock’s forecast is going to see a high of 67°, after starting the day at 44°.
