We saw the sunshine on Monday, but the air was still cool thanks to Sunday’s cold front. Today we will be seeing the sunshine again, but the air is going to warm up. The price we have to pay is the wind. It will be sustained at 10-15 mph this afternoon, which is really quite average for west Texas. Lubbock will make it up to a high of 67° for today. The wind will increase even more tomorrow. That wind will be sustained at 25-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph at times. Expect top see more sunshine in the area with a high temperature of 75°.
