We are getting some clouds moving into the area this morning, which will help to not make it as cold as it could be. We are down to 37° here in Lubbock, with 20s to the northwest. However, if there were clear skies, the air would be much colder and the temperatures much lower. It is still cold out there, so dress warm as you head out the door today. The afternoon is looking great. We’ll get sunny skies, light wind and a high temperature of 64°. That is still six degrees above the average for today.
Overnight, expect another cold one. We’ll see clear skies and light wind. So, temperatures will dip back down into the 30s for Lubbock. We’ll start at 35° tomorrow morning, with upper 20s to the northwest. The rest of the day is going to see the wind on the increase to 10-15 mph from the east. We’re going to get a cooler day, thanks to a secondary cold front that will move in during the morning. So, the high will only get to 60°.
