The cold front has already moved through the area, dropping temperatures down into the low and mid 30s to the northwest. Temperatures are in the low and mid 40s in the Rolling Plains. The skies will clear off from what little clouds we see this morning. The afternoon is looking to be sunny and cooler. Lubbock will make it up to a high of 76°. High school football games will be warmer this week, so get out and enjoy those!

Tomorrow morning will not be as cold, even though we’ll get clear skies tonight. Lubbock will drop down to only 50° Saturday morning. The afternoon is going to be much warmer. If you’re going to the Texas Tech game at 11:00 am, have the sun screen ready to go! We’re going to see mostly sunny skies and light wind on Saturday. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s at kickoff and we will climb all the way up to a high of 85°. The record high is actually 86° for November 4. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour when you go to bed!
