Skies are back to being clear and the rain we saw yesterday morning is long gone. Lubbock only came in with .03″ of rain, but that is still better than nothing. We’re going to look at sunny skies this afternoon. After a day where we only saw highs in the low 50s, we will make it up to 63° today. That is still below average, but better than Wednesday. The wind today will only be at 5-10 mph, so it will really be a pretty nice afternoon.
Overnight will see clear skies and light wind. So, we’ll begin Friday with another cold one. Lubbock will drop down to 38° to start things off. So, be ready to bundle up as you head out in the morning. The afternoon is going to see the wind start to increase again. We’ll see it sustained at 10-15 mph from the south. So, that sough wind will keep us at 62° for your Friday afternoon. Still below average, but we’ll get a warm up by Saturday.
