We’re seeing the wind staying up between 15-25 mph so far this morning. It is still gusting near 30 mph, as well. Air temperatures are in the low 40s for Lubbock and to the north, with upper 30s in the northern and northwestern counties. So, wind chills are down into the 20s and 30s to start off the day. We’re going to see the wind hang around 15 mph this afternoon, under sunny skies. Lubbock will make it to a high temperature of only 64°.
Tonight, we’ll see clear skies and light wind. So, expect things to get chilly again tomorrow morning. Lubbock will drop down to 42°. Lows will be in the low and mid 30s to the northwest, upper 40s off to the east. Wednesday afternoon is going to continue to see sunny skies. The wind will drop to 5-10 mph from the south-southwest. So, that flow pattern will bring in warmer air. Lubbock will climb up to a high temperature of 73°.
