We’re going to see increasing clouds throughout the afternoon, as a hint of moisture spreads into the region. The wind will increase to 10-15 mph by the afternoon. Even though we’re going to see clouds in the area, Lubbock is still going to reach a high of 94°. There will be isolated storms at 10% to the southwest of Lubbock. The rest of the area will remain dry.
By Saturday, expect a warm start to the day, as the low only makes it down to 66°. The average low is 59°. Expect a partly sunny day tomorrow. If you’re tailgating early Saturday, just have plenty of water, because it will feel warmer out there, especially in the sunshine that peeks through the clouds. Wind will be at 10-15 mph, with isolated storms to the northwest of Lubbock. We’ll hit a high temperature of 89°.
