The low pressure system that came across New Mexico yesterday is bringing in rain to the Rolling Plains this morning. We’ll continue to see scattered showers this afternoon thanks to a cool front moving in from the north. There will be pockets of heavy rain at times, so more flooding is expected. Lubbock will only see a high of 72° this afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be partly sunny, with light wind and a high of 75°. Autumn begins on Saturday night at 8:54 pm.
