More low clouds, fog and wet roadways to begin the day. So, be careful on your morning commute. This light rain wills tick around throughout the day. The clouds will block the sun, so the air will stay cool and damp. Expect wind to increase to 10-15 mph by the afternoon. We’ll see a high temperature of 62° here in Lubbock. That wind will make it feel much cooler than that. There will be no flooding issues today, since the rain will remain light.
Cloudy skies and cool air will stick around for your Friday, as well. There will be light rain across the region tomorrow, much like what we’re seeing today. We’ll start the day at 57° and things will be damp. So, watch out while heading to work and school in the morning. The afternoon will stay cloudy, with those rain showers in the area at 20%. Have your rain gear at high school games, just in case. Things will change more to drizzle later in the evening. We’ll only make it up to a high of 63°.
