Today is Labor Day, so many of you are off work and enjoying a well deserved day off. Today will be a good pool day. After all, it is the unofficial end of summer today. There will be sunny skies and er will expect to see high temperatures well above average. If you are getting outside today, just be sure to take it easy in the warmth. Lubbock will make it up to a high of 93°. The wind will be light, so it will actually feel warmer than it is.
Tomorrow morning will start off with temperatures above where they should. That is before a cool front enters the area from the north. That front is going to give us relief from the 90s area-wide. We’ll notice that the afternoon will feel nicer, but wind will increase to 10-15 mph behind the front. That cool front will allow for Lubbock to see a high temperature of 84°. That will certainly feel nice after the warm weekend.
