We’re seeing some leftover, patchy clouds as we begin this day. Those clouds will move out of the area by mid-morning and the sun will shine. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some small clouds return this afternoon. The high pressure is still here, so expect dry conditions today. It will be warm, as Lubbock will get up to a high temperature of 97°.
Overnight, things will be warm and dry. There will be passing clouds, but they will remain thin and far between. We’ll kick off the weekend at 74° before sunrise tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon is going to stay dry and warm, with the high pressure starting to exit the region. We’ll see puffy cumulus clouds return in the afternoon, with mostly sunny skies. We’ll see a high in Lubbock of 95°.
