KLBK December 10th Evening Forecast

This weekend was a cold and snowy one with Lubbock officially receiving 10″ of snow at the airport. While most of this snow melted over the past couple of days, we may be expecting more wintry precipitation later on in the week.

Most of the week will continue with sunshine across the area and temperatures slowly returning to near average and eventually back into the 60s by the mid week. Once Wednesday night comes around things are going to change. We’re tracking the arrival of another storm system on Thursday morning that may bring some wintry precipitation back into the region. Things are still a little uncertain on the exact type of precip as models are still not in agreement, however, we do know that another storm system will be expected.

The bulk of the precipitation will exit the region by the late afternoon/early evening hours leaving us with clear conditions overnight. By the end of the week and into the weekend things return back to sunny conditions and temperatures in the 60s.
