It’s another start to the workweek, and unlike this weekend things will be cloudy for much of the week. This morning started off with a lot of cloud cover across the South Plains and some light rain showers off in New Mexico. As we head on throughout the rest of the day the cloud cover will persist inhibiting our high temperatures to get too warm. High temperatures today will get into the mid to upper 50s for most of the region. Most of us should also stay dry today despite the cloudy conditions.
Our next shot for rain will come tomorrow, however, it will only be isolated. Tomorrow starts off cloudy for everyone with the rain chances increasing over the daytime. The best chance for rain will come during the afternoon hours before moving out of the area by the evening hours. Tomorrow will also be the coolest day of the week with high temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 50s.
After tomorrow, things stay relatively quiet. Clouds will eventually clear out by the end of the week leaving us with sunny conditions back again for the weekend. Temperatures the rest of the week will slowly reach up into the low to mid 60s once again.
Have a great week!
