Today has been another warm one, with lighter wind then what we saw on Sunday. There are thin clouds trying to stick around this evening and overnight. They will not do much at all tonight, since they are higher up in the sky. Overnight, things will not be as cold as what we saw this morning. Expect partly cloudy skies tonight, with a low of 36°. So, you’ll still need to dress warm as you head out in the morning.
The wind is going to remain light as we go through Tuesday. What wind we see will be from the west. That west wind is going to continue to pump in warm conditions. Lubbock is going to reach a high temperature of 63°. That is ten degrees above average for December 19. So, the afternoons will continue to be warm, at least in the near future.
