KLBK January 27th Evening Forecast

A cold front will push through tomorrow morning which will bring some big changes on the way. High temperatures tomorrow will drop into the mid 40s across the South Plains. Along with the cooler temperatures comes the windy conditions. By the time you head out the door tomorrow morning winds will be breezy, but the winds will pick up by the afternoon hours once that front fully passes through. Winds tomorrow will be out of the north sustained at 20-30 mph and gusting up to 35 mph. Blowing dust will be the big concern for tomorrow along with the cooler temperatures. With that northerly wind it’ll feel colder than it actually is with temperatures feeling like the mid 30s. You’ll want to bundle up tomorrow.

After tomorrow things will gradually improve. By midweek we’ll get back to near average with highs in the mid 50s. The end of the week looks to get warm with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s…possibly reaching the 70s by the weekend.

Unfortunately, we look to stay dry over the next several days. The bigger story this week will be the changing temperatures and the breezy conditions.
