It was another warm day across the South Plains and will remain warm overnight. Tonight temperatures will stay in the 70s with a mostly clear sky, however, things will change very quickly. Moisture from what was Tropical Storm Bud, now a tropical depression, will stretch into our region over the next couple of days. This moisture will bring plenty of clouds into the South Plains as well as much needed rain. Temperatures will also remain on the cooler side thanks to this cloud cover we’ll have over the next several days. Father’s Day looks to be a rainy, but cool day. You may want to move your plans indoors but will be able to enjoy breaks in the rain outside without sweating profusely. We look to get a break from the rain on Monday, but we cannot rule out an isolated thunderstorm chance on Monday. Temperatures for the rest of the week will be in the upper 80s with rain chances for the rest of the forecast.
